Cream Tech Software built the Massio app (also published as "Massage Therapy" / "Massagem: Aulas Passo a Passo") as an ad-supported app with an optional paid subscription (Massio PRO). This SERVICE is provided by Cream Tech Software and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The information that we collect or process is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Massio does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or phone number. Most of the information you enter in the app stays only on your device:

When you use Coach Massio, the text you type (for example, "stiff neck from the computer"), together with the session length, who the massage is for, the app language and the list of available massage steps, is sent through our server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to OpenAI, a third-party artificial intelligence service, only to build your session. This request is not linked to your name or to an account, and we do not store the text on our server. OpenAI processes it according to its API data usage policies (API data is not used to train its models by default and may be kept for a limited time for abuse monitoring). Please do not include personal or sensitive information (such as your name or medical details) in the text. Using Coach Massio is optional; if you do not use it, nothing is sent.

Massage videos and recorded voice guidance are downloaded from our website (creamtechsoftware.com) when you watch a session. Like any web server, it may register technical information such as your IP address and the date and time of the request. When recorded guidance is not available, the app uses your phone's own text-to-speech voice, which runs on your device.

Massio PRO subscriptions are purchased and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase receipts and subscription status.

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device model and ad interactions to show, limit and measure ads. On iOS, the app asks your permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking (App Tracking Transparency), and you can change this at any time in your device settings. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other places where it is required, the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) where you can choose personalized or non-personalized ads. Massio PRO subscribers do not see ads.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” or similar technologies to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

The service providers currently used are Google (AdMob and Google Play Services), Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI and Cloudflare, as described above. We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access only to the information needed to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose, except as described in their own privacy policies.

Massio is a wellness app. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and the tension levels you record are self-assessments kept on your device. If you have pain, an injury or a medical condition, consult a health professional.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Communication with our servers uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
